Once, a young girl who was visually impaired encountered a cow that had fallen on the road. The animal was helpless, exposed to the movement of traffic around it.
In that moment, she was suddenly reminded of Śrīpāda Vallabha Charithāmṛtham, which she had heard a few years earlier.
The remembrance did not remain merely a thought. It became action.
She realised that the people passing by were busy with their own lives and that the cow needed help immediately.
She began calling veterinary doctors and transport drivers, trying to find someone who could take the cow to the nearest place where it could receive medical care.
Several attempts did not work. Help was not easy to find.
Finally, an auto driver came forward and helped transport the cow.
She paid the charges to those who helped and spent nearly two hours trying to get the animal to safety.
This initiative was born from that simple remembrance.
When we encounter a cow or calf in distress, the difficulty is often not the willingness to help.
We may simply not know whom to call. Where is the nearest veterinary help? Who can transport the animal? Who nearby can respond?
The Cow Care service is intended to make that first step easier.
Notice an injured, helpless or distressed cow or calf.
Send a message with the location or pin so that help nearby can be identified.
The service can identify registered assistance nearby and alert them.
Send a message to our Cow Care number. Share the location or pin, and we will try to connect the situation with registered help nearby.
🐄 REPORT A COW IN NEEDWe do not know how many lives this service may eventually touch.
Perhaps it will help many. Perhaps it will help only a few.
But if this service helps even one cow receive timely care, its purpose is served.
May remembrance become compassion. May compassion become action. May action become Seva.
